Icon Film Distribution is pleased to confirm that “Heart of an Oak” will be released in selected cinemas across the UK on July 12 and out on digital download from August 12.
Guardian states that the documentary has some cinematic aerial shots, which promise to create a radically different viewing experience, much like “Top Gun: Maverick.” First streamed on the Icon Film Channel in June, “Heart of an Oak” charts the poetical life of a grand 210-year-old oak tree.
Deep inside its sprawling ecosystem, it goes on to present viewers with a colourful cast of characters that includes everything from squirrels and birds to ants and mice. It’s a unique documentary that couples humour, joy, and heart-pounding action to give an epic look at the glittering world that thrives under the ancient limbs of the oak. With “Heart of an Oak” to hit the big screen on July 12th and a digital download release planned for August 12th, it’s your chance to witness man himself be in deep and enthralling insight into nature.
