Lassie: A New Adventure | Coming to Digital platforms 15th July

Kaleidoscope Home Entertainment has annoucned the relaes of the return of one of Hollywood’s treasured dogs to the big wide world with “Lassie: A New Adventure,” when it debuts across all major digital platforms from 15th July.

The film is one in a line of great family adventures with director Hanno Oldierssen, destined to please an audience of any generation. Following a successful theatrical release earlier this year, where Kidzcoolit raved, “Youngsters will love the new Lassie!” and Blazing Minds praised it as a “heartwarming movie that is one for all the family to enjoy,” the latest Lassie film is now ready to be enjoyed at home.

As the summer break approaches, Flo realizes he cannot bear the idea of parting with Lassie. He goes on holiday with his Aunt Cosima to South Tyrol’s farm, not Gran Canaria with his parents. While there, he meets Jack Russell terrier Pippa and Aunt Cosima’s foster children Kleo and Henri.

What should be a pleasant visit turns into an adventure of the unknown as pedigree dogs in the village disappear. As Pippa gets kidnapped, Lassie’s detective abilities are put into action in this race against time. In her mission to solve the mystery and save Pippa from a dognapping racket, this intrepid collie works on taking down the vicious circle once and for all.

Don’t miss out on “Lassie: A New Adventure,” a film so delightful and full of suspense that it’s sure to put a smile on faces in homes this summer.

Based on the original book by Erik Knight Director Hanno Oldierssen has successfully re-established Lassie as a contemporary heroine for modern audiences.

Lassie: A New Adventure also features an exciting cast including Nico Marischka, Katharina Schüttler, Justus von Dohnányi, Annette Frier, Anna Lucia Gualano and Pelle Staacken.
